Why join the Association? Membership of the VMCA is inexpensive but is important for the future of the Mosquito class. The association is responsible for administration of the class rules (through the National body, the NMCCA) and for representing your views and interests nationally and promoting the class generally. We hold annual State Titles and other events such as Training days and coordinate activities such as attending regattas. We also organise about every second National Titles on behalf of the NMCCA. So for a very small cost you can help ensure the future of the class and the re-sale value of your own boat as well as enjoy some great racing and social events.

There are three categories of membership.

Senior membership costs $25 per year. This is for Victorian Mosquito skippers and is a requirement for sailing in State or National titles.

Junior membership costs $10 per year and is for Mosquito skippers under the age of 18 (also a requirement for sailing in State or National titles).

Associate membership is only $10 per year. This type of membership is for those not actively sailing in Victoria or at all but who want to support the class and the Victorian association. A crew may also have Associate membership but this is not a requirement for sailing in association events.

The membership year is from 1 January to the 31 December.
