Altona YC – 12-14 March 2022
The State Titles for 2021/22 were held at Altona Yacht Club and despite the weather predictions the Mosquitos, Arrows and Nacras were treated to some very varied, but never dull, conditions. There was plenty of breeze (5 to 20 knots in one leg), shifts (30 degrees not uncommon), waves (onshore breeze on Saturday and Monday), flat water (offshore on Sunday) and many capsizes in the challenging conditions.
One of the benefits at Altona YC is being able to camp on the grass around the clubhouse which made it a very sociable weekend.
